Around 1’370 km by car each way, a short night at a motorway rest area and three nights in a capsule hotel: our autumn trip to Copenhagen brought us Halloween at Tivoli, Danish history at the National Museum, a canal tour past Nyhavn and plenty of Danish hygge.
We packed our tent and drove over the Simplon Pass to Lago Maggiore. Two nights of camping above Stresa, a boat trip to Isola Bella and plenty of Italian food made it the perfect short getaway.
We exchanged vows at our beautiful garden wedding in Detligen, right next to the river Aare, surrounded by close family and friends.
